Today, @sariesc and I took a class on Risotto. Once again, @cambridgeculinary did not disappoint. Risotto was delicious. From the top of the image and working clockwise around…Risotto with Lobster and Grilled Corn, Risotto Alla Zucca, Risotto Con Funghi Porcini, Risotto Veneziano, Beetroot Risotto with Glazed Carrots and Goat Cheese, and in the middle is Risotto with Spring Vegetables. Thank you Chef Dianne and all the class participants for a wonderful morning!

So…at the beginning of the year, I had a fabulous dinner planned with two of my oldest (length of time, not age) and dearest friends. This was a 12-course tasting menu of Filipino-inspired dishes that were absolutely out of this world. I managed to get these pictures in order of serving. Some are mine, some were taken by @normita721. These are the courses. The pictures are in order but some of the courses have multiple pictures.

1. Pan de Sal
2. Sinuglaw
3. Penoy/ Scallop was the alternate because I typically don’t eat eggs
4. Inasal Na Relyenong Pak Pak
5. Maya Maya
6. Ka-Sa-Lay Trio (3 courses in 1)
7. Inihaw Na Liempo
8. Kalderetang Pato
9. Halo Halo
10. Ensaymada Na May Bukayo

If you have a chance to visit this little Michelin-gem in SoHo, I urge you to do it! The staff, the experience, the food…so totally worth it!!!

Had such a great morning at @cambridgeculinary taking a French Macaron Workshop with @fred.csibilevin!!! His demo macarons look way better than mine - especially since I didn’t even plate mine! Fillings include coffee ganache, lemon ganache, raspberry ganache, and American vanilla bean buttercream with strawberry compote. Scroll to the end for a visit from one of my faves!

So I took a couple of pictures with the least-cluttered backdrops I could manage. Look at this GORGEOUS squirrel-cage swift from @shepherds_woodworking! I have been eyeing this for over a year, and never thought I’d be able to get one! Thank you to my library knitting group…you all know who you are.
